We recently had a local customer bring in a few components wanting us to supply the rest of the components through our turnkey system (in which we provide everything else and do wiring/programming). He wanted to be able to use his two Mark V heads with the Axe FX, while also being able to bring the AxeFx home with him from rehearsal. We wired the top case for use with a Matrix so that he can load a Matrix power amp when he decided to purchase one.

In addition, he played a John Petrucci Musicman and took advantage of both the standard pickups and piezos. This rig was wired for him to utilize his guitar in this manner as well. Lastly, we ran the rig so that one Mark V was a master head and one was a slave head. We found that this was the optimal sound and setup with everything.
