GCX: all loops on by default?

Hi all, my question is basically in the title; is there a way to set the GCX’s default boot state to be all loops on?

Why? Cause I’ve been toying with the idea of building a pedal board, with the GCX mounted under so I can play and tweak easily at home, and then, with zero fuss, just plug in the ground control and have the pedal board / GCX somewhere safe at gigs. I know this isn’t the standard usage of this setup but I’m trying to experiment and not buy things I don’t need.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Routing Problem GCX/POD/LAPTOP

hey all,

I'm having a kinda strange (i think) problem. What I'd like to do seems simple enough - use GCP to control pedals, podXT, and software (mainstage or logic).

Now the pedal control part works fine and whatever i plug in next in the midi line (podXT or laptop) works fine too, but the third item (either the podXT or laptop) won't work.

Here are the specifics....

this happens when pressing button 1 on my GCP - set to change pedals (works fine) send program change on channel 2 (podxt) value 76, send program change on channel 3 (motu828 - for laptop) value 7.

tested midi lines...
GCP - GCX - Motu828 - podXT

GCX works fine. Laptop works fine - midi monitor tells me it is receiving/seeing the correct values (chan2 - 76, chan3 - 7) HOWEVER the podXT doesn't do anything, ie change to correct patch...

alternate set up
GCP - GCX - podXT - Motu828

GCX again fine, podXT changes to correct channel, ie it receives value 76 (so it's on the right channel) but the laptop does nothing - it receives a weird value in midi monitor (in fact pushing any footswitch on the GCP will return this value)

Messge, Control - Channel, 2 - Data, Channel Volume (course) 127

I have no idea what that channel volume course stuff means, or where the problem in this set up might be - any help would be greatly appreciated...
