Greetings all...
I am a bit confused about how to power this pedal. It is 9VDC, draws 10mA current and is Center POS.
I have it in Outlet 4 of my PP2 with the Red adapter cable, but it pops when I engage it.
Am I doing this wrong?
Thanks for any assistance,
Edward
Powering a Hartman Vintage Germanium Fuzz
Re: Powering a Hartman Vintage Germanium Fuzz/PP2
OK, so let me bump this with some better info...
I'm using the Fuzz in my pedalboard, and it's powered by the PP2. I'm having issues with the actual power connector pin, and the socket on the Fuzz.
Seems to not be making good barrel contact, so the connection is sporadic, meaning the plug goes in, and seems to be connected, but when I stomp the pedal to engage/disengage, it may or may not work. Then, I get no sound through the remaining downstream pedals, etc.
For the record, I am using the red plug in the PP2 set, but it also happens when using the normal black plug.
If I wiggle the plug, it will make better contact, and the pedal works and the fuzz tone is great, but if I stomp it off, it may not come back on the next time I stomp.
Any insight into this? Is it a PP2 issue or the socket on the Fuzz? Bueller? Anyone?

The red plug is center positive with a 2.5mm center. You need a 2.1mm center. Assuming it needs center positive, you should get a 5.5x2.1mm reverse polarity cable.edward wrote:OK, so let me bump this with some better info...
