I purchased today Voodoo Lab PP2+ and realized it's only 9V
so I read in the manual how you can set it to 12V if need be..

but what I need is to connect my 9.6V pedals to it.. so my question is how do I set the Voodoo Lab PP2+ to 9.6V so I can use my pedals with no problems..

<----- Holds a sealed envelope to his magnificently turbaned head and says aloud...

"So, ah... which EHX pedals are you trying to power?"

Wow... I never lose that game... or do I always lose that game... oh well ;)

Anyway, the Pedal Power 2+ will power all the other Pete Cornish "standalone" pedals... I just don't see any info specific to the SS2, but I do see that the SS3 is compatible. If the SS2 can also be powered using a 9V battery then it can certainly be powered from any of the outputs on a Pedal Power 2+ with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal.

Did you waste your money? Well look here to see what Pete Cornish himself recommends for a power supply for pedals... http://www.petecornish.co.uk/links.html

I hope that helps!

I want to power a Japanese Boss OC-2 which I hear specifically needs 9.6v instead of the normal Boss 9v.
Somebody said you can run these properly by switching and using the first four power jacks. But that gives 12v, would I damage the OC-2 by doing this?

Basically, if your Boss pedal suggests using the PSA power supply, you would use any output on a Pedal Power 2+ with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal. If your Boss pedal suggests using the ACA power supply, you would use any one of outputs 1-4 on a Pedal Power 2+ with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal.

I hope that helps!
