Pedals Won't Work on pedal power 2 brand new

Post by PaulDay » Sat Dec 30, 2017 5:35 pm

Brand new pedal power 2 plus. One pedal works - an EHX Soul Food. Others do not. TC Electronics Nova Delay - doesn't work. Line 6 Echo Park - doesn't work. GFS Chorus and a GFS tuner - don't work. Any ideas?
I've read the manual. I've tried multiple spots on the 1-8 inputs and even tried switching the DIP switch settings. No luck.
Thanks in advance for any help! Happy New Year!

As a test, does the Soul Food work from each output when the corresponding DIP switch is set to Normal?

The Echo Park and GFS tuner should each work from any output with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal.
The Nova Delay should be connected to output 5 or 6 with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal.

I'm not sure about the GFS Chorus...

Make sure the pedals have the audio cables connected to the Ins and Outs... pedals that accept 9V Batteries often won't power up until there is a guitar cable cable connected to the Input jack.

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks! I finally figured out that many 9V pedals do require connecting cables to be able to work, so your response is right on target. Also, thanks for the connection advice on my specific pedals. Much appreciated!
