PP2+ failure

Post by tache3 » Thu Apr 07, 2011 12:31 am

Had a PP2+ fail on me last night. All was fine, then suddenly the light went out and no-one was home. No power from any of the outputs.

I've had the casing open to see if there is a fuse on the circuit board that had blown that I could replace and get going again but there doesn't appear to be one.

First thing in the mains chain from the AC input is the transformer, if this has decided to give up is there anything I can do or is the unit now just fit for the trash?

Any help anyone can give is appreciated.

Please give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com for information on getting your unit in for inspection and any necessary repairs.

Apologies for dragging this thread up from the vaults, but I have had this problem happen again with another unit. Same symptoms.

Unit is labelled as been manufactured in May 2016, so its probably out of warranty, but is there anything I can do about the issue?

Many thanks in advance.

Certainly not out of warranty... we cover for 5 years.

Give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com as before. Very sorry to see you are having troubles again!

That's great news that the warranty is still valid. Would it be worth contacting Westside Distribution as I'm in the UK? Do they have a repair service?
