Dear Voodoo Labs,
I have a Pedal Power 4x4. I would like to use shorter IEC power cord with it. Is there a gauge you recommend? 18?
Thank you. Eric Rudd

18AWG would be perfectly fine, after all it is what the cord that ships with the US Pedal Power is made with.
Unless you are making the cable from scratch, I woudn't worry about this too much. I doubt you would find a manufactured cable with an IEC connector that would have too small a gauge wire in it since the IEC standards already specify needing to be suitable for up to 10A. (way way more than a Pedal Power could ever draw!).
I hope that helps!

Thank you for your reply. I had hoped it wouldn't be a problem. But I was (briefly) concerned that I spent this money on a power supply, cables, and plugging pedals into the correct current draw, only to improperly power the supply itself.
Best, Eric
