There is power going to the unit but when i Switch the loops none of the LEDS switch on and none of the loops go active. Dry signal is passing through however as I still get sound just no effects. I own 2GCX units and both of them have 8 loops active and currently I’m running them one at a time to isolate the issue.the second GCX unit works fine if I redirect my signal to it using the same midi cable, Guitar cable and ground control

Any help on this issue would be very welcomed

Do the LEDs on the GCX scroll from Right to Left when first powering up the GCX?

Do a quick smart phone video showing what happens.... That might help :)

You do have to wait a few seconds after powering down before powering back up for the GCX to reset properly. Also, since you have two GCXs, do they both do the same thing when first powering up? Maybe also test with no MIDI Cable connected to the Pedal In jack on the GCX, the GCX has a protection against a shorted MIDI cable that will cut the power.

The LEDS go from right to left
Also the other GCX Works fine using the same midi cable.
I tried without a midi cable connected and it was the same result

Both of the GCX units worked fine separatelyy but when tried chain them together tp one ground control thats when the trouble started.
now only one works even when I connect them one at a time

Forgive me, but I am just not certain I am understanding your answer. So the unit in question does do the correct LED scroll is what you are saying, but it does not respond to the Ground Control?

If so, does the Active LED flash when you press buttons on the Ground Control?
Also, do you have the original Ground Control with the 12 plastic button pads or the Ground Control Pro with the 15 metal stomp switch type buttons?

Are the GCXs activated in the Ground Control under Expanders in Setup Mode. The GCX connected directly to the Ground Control MIDI Out will always act as GCX #1. So if you are testing units one at a time, make sure you are sending messages intended for GCX #1.

If this is going too slowly, feel free to give us a call while you are with the gear. We can troubleshoot it quite quickly that way and if there is a problem we can get the return process started right away. Sorry for the trouble!

The only LEDS that are active is when I turn on the unit and they scroll right to left then nothing, then I use the gound control the active light never come on nor does any of the 8 loop LEDS. When I click on the loops.

I should also add I am using a ground control pro.

Also if I unplug the ground control from the GCX and use the same cable that I just unplugged and plug it into my other GCX evertything in that unit is perfect

Which suggests that there's an issue with the first GCX
