Powering 5volt device with voodoolabs 2plus

Post by jb23 » Tue Aug 01, 2017 2:30 pm

I have a pedel power 2plus and want to add a device that uses a 5v DC power supply. Can this be done?

Probably not the best solution, but you could achieve 5V using one of the SAG outputs.

What is the device you are looking to power?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to power a midiplus miniengine USB midi module.

Can you tell me more about the sag option?

Oh... sorry, the SAG output wouldn't work for this at all.

I would suggest plugging a small USB Phone Charger into the Courtesy Outlet on the back of the Pedal Power 2+ to use for this.

I hope that helps!
