Power supply recommendations

Post by gordnewman » Sun Jun 04, 2017 10:09 am

Hello all. I am putting together a pedal board that includes the following: 2 standard 9v pedals, a Neo Ventilator 2 (12v DC, 300mA, centre poasitive) and a Radial Key Largo (15 v DC, 260 mA, centre positive).

Any suggestions on what power supply would fit the bill?

Thanks
Gord

Sorry for the delayed reply here!

Unfortunately we do not have a method to provide the 15V that the Radial devices need, so the Key-Largo will continue to use its supplied power adapter.

I suppose a Pedal Power Digital or ISO-5 would be the best choice here for the remaining pedals. A Pedal Power 2+ would probably be overkill but it does have a Courtesy Outlet jack on the back that would accept the Radial power adapter.

I hope that helps!

Thanks John. I'll likely go with the Power Pedal 2+. That way I get the courtesy outlet and room for pedal board growth!

Thanks again,
Gord

With a Pedal Power 2+, you will need a Current Doubler Adapter (the one with the Green end) connected to both outputs 5 and 6 with their corresponding DIP switches set away from Normal ans well as the Reverse Polarity Barrel Cable for the Ventilator 2.

The two standard pedals will likely be powered from any of the outputs with the corresponding DIP switches set to Normal.

Good Luck!
