Bass player newbie seeking wisdom

Post by Lanlan » Thu May 18, 2017 8:31 pm

Hi guys, newbie here. And here are my pedals :

1. TC Polytune
2. Aguilar TLC Compressor
3. Aguilar Octamizer
4. Source Audio Aftershock
5. MXR EQ10
6. EHX Bass Micro Synth
7. Radial Tonebone

I need advice and suggestions of what type of pedal power suite the best for my set up. I would used up all of the 8 outputs from 4x4 or PP2 Plus. Which one suits better? Or should I provide spare outputs and go Mondo 12 outputs instead? I'm lost guys, hopefully someone out there can help me shed light.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

I'd probably go with the Pedal Power 2+ if this is everything, or Mondo if you were looking to expand.

The Polytune, TLC Compressor, Octamizer, and Bass Micro Synth can each be powered from any 9V Output.

The MXR EQ, if it is the M-108 Ten Band EQ, needs 18V and can be powered from any two 9V outputs using a Voltage Doubler Adapter.

The Aftershock can be powered from any of the High Current 9V Outputs.

The Tonebone likely requires 15V and will need to use its supplied power adapter. This can be plugged into the Courtesy Outlet on the back of the Pedal Power 2+ or Mondo. Exactly which model Tonebone do you have?

I hope that helps!
