connecting 2 wireless units to pp2

Post by Ken R » Tue Apr 25, 2017 5:29 pm

Can I connect a Shure PGX4 wireless mic unit 12-18V 160mA and an Audio Technica ATW-R1100 wireless guitar unit DC 12V 500mA to the PP2 plus? If so, how do I do that. I'm assuming that I can use a doubler cable on ports 5 and 6 and change the dips for the Shure and just plug the AT into the AC outlet on the back? Could someone confirm that?

The Shure receiver can be powered from output 5 or 6 with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal, no doubler cable is needed for this one.

I have been searching for accurate information on the actual current draw for the Audio Technica receiver but so far have come up empty handed
For now, yes I would suggest running it with its included power adapter connected to the Courtesy Outlet on the back of the Pedal Power 2+.

I hope that helps!
