12V markbass compressore needs minimum of 500ma??

Post by BassHead » Fri Apr 07, 2017 9:22 am

Hi I'm strongly considering of buying a pedal power supply, however I'm unsure which unit to get. My 12v mark bass compressore apparently came with a DC in adapter that uses 1700ma to power it, however I read online somewhere that it needs a minimum of 500ma??
My other pedals include: a Zoom B2.1u which is 9v, needs 300ma
Ibanez airplane flange 9v, 200ma
Digitech bass synth wah 9v, 300ma
GLX bass equaliser 9v,
EHO Bass big muff pi 9v, 100ma
EHO micro POG 9.6v, 200ma
TC electronics bona fide buffer 9v, 40ma
And a loop switcher probably 9v

As you can see, a lot of different brands and a lot of different power requirements!
I hope someone can help, thanks.

Hmm... I think perhaps the Mondo is the best fit here. It has enough outputs to cover what you have with enough left over to cover whatever the loop switcher might ultimately need.

The Airplane Flanger, BEQ-1, Bass Big Muff Pi, and BonaFide Buffer can each be powered from any output to the right with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal.

The Bass Synth Wah/Envelope Filter and Micro POG can each be powered from outputs 5 or 6 to the right with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal.

The B2.1u can be powered from either of the single High Current 9V outputs to the left.

The MarkBass Compressore can be powered using a Current Doubler Adapter (the one with the Green end) connected to both 12V outputs to the left.

I hope that helps!
