Voodoo lab gcx and peavey 6505+ HELP !!!!!

hey guys! I have a peavey 6505+ an I realy want to buy a gcx switcher...but the problem is that my head is not midi compatible -_- . So I looked on the internet and I foud the voodoo lab control switcher so I could switch channel with the gcx ?

The 6505 Footswitch is a 2-button foot switch with a TRS plug on the end, so you don't need to buy a Control Switcher.

To switch channels with a GCX, get an insert cable like this one:

ProCo IPBQ2Q10

Plug the two TS connectors into two separate GCX Loops and the TRS connector into the switch jack on the rear panel of your 6505. The TS connectors will either go into the Out or the Send jacks on the GCX, depending on whether or not your 6505 is looking for latching or momentary switches. You won't hurt anything, so if you're not sure about the latching or momentary switching, just try both GCX jacks to see which one functions properly.

The Channel Select switch on the front panel should be pressed in for remote footswitch mode. One GCX Loop/IA button will change channels, the other will turn the FX Loop on and off. Swap out the two TS connectors if you want to change which Loop controls what.

the 6505+ does not have this conection. the footswitch is connect by a 7 pin midi...I'll buyu a mini amp guizmo by jrm music

Oops, I too somehow missed the "+".

The Control Switcher together with a custom cable that we can make you will control the 6505+. What MIDI controller are you using?
