I’m new here. Semi pro musicians that gigs 4 times a month. I have a pedal train PT-2 board & have been using this cheapo power supply that I tie rapped to the bottom of the board since I bought it a year ago that I ripped off a no-name pedal board & I also have a power strip tie rapped to the bottom as well. I just purchased the power 2 plus & it should be here today… I bought a new amp (JVM215C) & now that the amp has lots of gain I noticed with my existing set up there is major hum coming off my pedals. I’m hoping the power plus will make it a little quieter. My question is my set up is as follows:
Line 6 x95 wireless-(depending on the gig, sometimes unplugged)TC poly tuner-Cry baby-MXR Comp-MXR Mini chorus-Modtone delay1-Modetone delay 2…I also have a MXR CC Delay running my loop that’s on the board as well…8 pedals total. Anything I need to know other than setting the power to standard 9v????they all use a 9v & dont know if the line 6 wireless will need the high current. Also I think I lost the brackets that came with the board so I’ll probably be tie rapping the power supply to the bottom of the board.
