I recently just purchased a few ground lifted output splitter adapters from you guys.

I have a couple questions:
1. In order for the ground to work properly, I am assuming you have to directly connect 2 pedals together that “share" the powered split y output adapter...??
So if you have this pedal config: A-B-C-D-E-F (where the letters are pedals and the dashes are the patch cables) and you used a y splitter in say output 3 (9v) you would have to power pedals [A to B] or [E to F] not [A to C] or [C to F] with one y splitter.
Is this correct? Or since [A and C] are connected via the chain, is this still considered a shared ground?

2. If my assumption above is correct regarding how you would "share" a ground; how do you know if the pedals "play nice" together? Just by noise?? If it is quiet, then they play nice, if it is noisy they don't??

1. They can be any two pedals within the signal chain, but not all pedals will "play nice" together...

Which brings us nicely to 2... you pretty much have it, if things remain quiet then all is good. If things get noisy, or no signal passes, or one of the shared pedals still won't power, then you can try the split on a different combination of pedals. As long as the combined current draw of the two pedals is equal to or less than the maximum rated current for the output used then you shouldn't really have much problem.
