Hi...I need some help! I am trying to connect a Voodoo Labs System Mix Plus Rack Mixer with a GCX switcher. I am happy to pay for your time...so please send me an email to drcraig2002@yahoo.com or call 970 243-5981 if you can help. I am using a Mesa Triaxis preamp, a Marshall JMP-1 preamp, 2 Rocktron Intellifex stereo effects, a rack guitar tuner, a Rocktron MIDI Mate foot controller, and a Mesa 20/20 stereo power amp. My goal is to be able to use the Triaxis OR the JMP-1 with the effects units...all controlled by the MIDI Mate. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

Switching the preamps is shown in Example 1 of the A/B Switching section in the GCX manual under Audio Loops.
The Out of the GCX Loop used to A/B the preamps would connect to the Mix 1 In 1 of the System Mix Plus.
The Passive Splits would each run to a GCX Loop In and the two processors would be fed mono from the Sends of these loops as shown in the Muting Sends section of the GCX Manual under Audio Loops.
The stereo outputs of the two processors would connect to MIX 2 In 2 and Mix 2 in 3 respectively.
The Mix 2 Outs would connect to the inputs on the 20/20.

This will allow you to A/B switch between the preamps and run both processors in parallel.

The GCX responds to Control Change messages 80-87 on MIDI Channel 16.

I hope this helps!
