HI, I'm maurice and I'm new here. I want to buy a GCX and i was wondering if I could use one GCX with two amps. I want to run 5 stomp boxes, a g major and the two amps. Only one amp (Boogie MK III) has an FX loop. I want to run my DD-3 delay and my G-major through the mesa boogie's loop. And I want to run my 1987x (without a loop) with all the FX except the ones in the Loop of my MK III. (so the fX that are not in the loop got to both amps) Is this possible with a GCX, and if so, does anyone have a wiring diagram for it? I am planning on running my wireless reciever, vox wah and tc tuner in front of the gcx, a ts-9, ep boost, pentavocal trem, and phase 90 trough the gcx (in front of both amps) and the G-major And dd-3in the loop of my boogie. I want to use the loops on the gcx I have left over to switch channels on my mesa boogie.
(I don't want to run the preamp of the mesa into the marshall or anything.)
Cheers,
Maurice
BTW, i want to be avle to switch on and off the dd-3, i don't have to be able to switch on and off the g-major.

Sorry for the delayed reply!
A GCX should be able to cover all your needs. After routing all your front end effects through a series of GCX Loops, you would simply use one additional GCX Loop as an A/B switch to select which amplifier was live. An example of this is shown in the GCX manual under A/B Switching in the Audio Loops section.
An unused GCX Loop would be able to switch the DD-3 on and off while having it routed in the effects loop of the Mesa.
I hope that helps!
