Hex as an input switch?

Post by Sonhenry » Fri Mar 09, 2018 8:52 am

Hey all

I'm struggling with a question I can't seem to make work. I'm wiring a hex to toggle between presets for a guitar and a pedal steel. The effects routing works great, but I want the preset to also change the input sources for me. I've tried input 1, normal and return as a option but the noise is extreme. Same using #2. Am I missing something, or is this just not workable?

Thanks!

The Return jacks are ground lifted. You will need to do something like connecting the sleeves of the plugs in the Return and Out on Loop 1 in order to re-establish this ground connection.

Let us know if you get stuck!

Ok, that makes sense. A little soldering and it's working. Thanks!
