I could really use some help! I'm trying to configure a GCP, GCX, and Control Switcher to work with my new EVH 5150 III EL34. I've got everything working just fine with the GCP/GCX and the Control Switcher works great with my presets when it comes to channel switching. My problem is I can't get the amp's effects loop to work consistently! Something is wrong with the way the Control Switcher button #4 and the amp's effects loop are interacting. It's not reliable. It doesn't always turn on and off. Sometimes I have physically go to the Control Switcher and push the button a couple times for the "on" to occur. What am I doing wrong? And BTW, I have tried configuring button #4 as normal, reverse, momentary pulse on/off, and momentary pulse on only. Nothing works. I think momentary pulse on/off is the correct setting, maybe?

If using the Custom Cable we make for this with a "Red Button" Control Switcher, switches 1-3 should be set to Momentary Pulse On Only, and switch 4 should be set to Momentary Pulse On/Pulse Off.
You will also need to be sure at power up that the effects loop is in sync with the Control Switcher otherwise it will be reversed where the Red Light being On will actually equal the Loop being Off.

The "Black Button" Control Switcher will control only the amp channels due to the Momentary modes being a "global" setting.

What color are the buttons on your Control Switcher? Where did you get the cable to connect to your amp?
