GCX decisions......

Post by Juggernaut » Wed Nov 18, 2009 1:14 am

Need some advice, I'm gonna be running a set-up with 2 amps, and either an AxeFX or 3 Eventide pedals in my rig, I want to be able to switch all 3 channels on my Rectifier as well as the 2 channels on my Titan (single 1/4" jack).... is the GCX capable to do all of this?

is the GCX able to take custom cables that would run the Rectos footswitch connector to MIDI?

Just curious, trying to decide between the GCX and the RJM RG-16. any light you can shed on this for me will be appreciated.

The channel switching will require 4 GCX loops (3 for the Recto, 1 for the Titan) leaving 4 loops for effects. A custom cable can be made that breaks out from the Mesa Footswitch jack to the GCX loops or you can use standard instrument or speaker cables connected to the External Switching jacks rather than a custom cable. I hope that helps!
