i noticed that when i have any pedal patched in to the gcx and powered with a 1 Spot daisy chain, even if it's just 1 pedal at a time, a buzzing noise comes thru the system and out my speakers when i play...unpatch the pedal and it goes away..any pedal...thoughts? if i get a pedal power will this problem go away?

Do the same pedals make noise when powered via batteries and connected to the GCX loops?

What is the pedal causing the noise? It's pretty common when you daisy chain your pedals with OneSpot and don't use isolated outputs from a power suply.
Some pedals don't react the same in conjuction with other when you daisy chain them...

It is interesting that you are getting this problem when powering only a single pedal. that it goes away when using a battery certainly shows its some sort of interaction between the power supply and the GCX. Does the noise stay constant or does it only happen when the GCX loop for the powered pedal is active?

The noise is constant whether the loop is on or not...my testing was with the loop not active...do i need something like a pedal power 2?

I would also like to add that the noise issue exists even when not using the 1 spot and using my eventide H9 with it's own power adapter....

My gcx is an old one back from the Digital Music Corp days

I am unsure exactly what you are experiencing here so I cannot say if a Pedal Power will make the difference.

Are you plugging right into the loop for testing or are you using the Guitar In/Out jacks in front of the loop? If you have tried both, is there any difference between the two routings?

I bought a trutone 1 spot pro and it fixed my issue...isolated power with a 3 prong power cable, not a two prong wall wart type
