How can i connect my Ammps and Effects withe the GCX

I have a:

Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier (Ch1, Ch2, Ch3 and Solo)
Mesa Boogie Triaxis
Mesa Boogie 2:90
T.C. - G-Major
Alesis Quadraverb

Bogner Cab
Marshall Cab

I want to use the TC and the Alesis for both Amps.
The Rectifier with the Bogner Cab and the Triaxis with the Marshall Cab
How is the best way to connect it with the GCX? I use the Ground Control Pro and want to control everything with it.

Thank you all very much for the info's and ideas

Greatingx Peter

Welcome aboard, Peter!!

Do you plan to use both amps simultaneously or one at a time?

Do you want to run the TC and Alesis in front of the amps or thru each amp's respective FX Loop? That can be done but it will complicate things somewhat.

Hello and Thank you :-)

Yes i want to Yous both amps simultaneously.
and i want to use the Alesis and the TC thru the amps by the FX Loop.

or what you think is better? i don´t know. i think thru the FX Loop

At my old Routing i go to the FX Loop. That was the same System without the triaxis and the 2:90
in the Picture is the Routing of the ols Setup

Does your Triple Rectifier have the original Parallel Effects Loop or is it the later model with the Series Effects Loop?

Any particular reason the tuner isn't up in front of the amp? What is the tuner you are using?

I think the best way to set this up will be to run your processors in stereo using two loops per processor. Here is an example of a GCX doing this...

http://www.voodoolab.com/gcxdiagrams/04 ... werAmp.pdf

In the above example Loops 3 & 7 control the first Processor and loops 4 & 8 control the second processor. You can use whichever four loops you like but using the loops from the above drawing as an example you would connect as follows...
1. FX Send of the Triaxis to the In of GCX Loop 3.
2. Out of GCX Loop 4 to the FX Return A on the Triaxis.
3. Output A of the Triaxis to Input A on the 2:90.
4. The appropriate Speaker Output A of the 2:90 to your Marshall cabinet.

5. FX Send of the Triple Rectifier to the In of GCX Loop 7.
6. Out of GCX Loop 8 to the FX Return on the Triple Rectifier.
7. The appropriate Speaker Out of the Triple Rectifier to your Bogner cabinet.
On the Triple Rectifier set the Loop Assign knob to "Loop On" and set both the Send and Return knobs to "Normal".

You can run your Guitar to the front panel Guitar In on the GCX, then use the rear panel Guitar Out and Feedthru to feed the input of both amps. this might buzz from a ground loop so be ready for that... if it does buzz unplug the instrument input to one amp to find if the buzz goes away. If it does then either lifting ground in one of the cables or running an isolation transformer in front of one of the amps will fix the problem.

Let us know how it goes!

And the Ch1 from the Rectifier to out Loop1, Ch2 to out Loop2, Ch3 to out Loop5, Solo to out Loop6
ist this right?

Thank you very much, I just check it out today and let you know if it works.

The Channel and Solo switching is fine in your drawing. However if you want to save one loop for another use I believe you can get away with controlling the three Channels only using the Channel 1 and Channel 3 switching jacks since these amps default to Channel 2 when nothing is selected. Test it out by first removing the cable between Loop 2 and the Channel 2 switching jack.

-With Loop 1 turned on and Loop 3 turned off you will get Channel 1.
-With Loop 1 and Loop 3 turned off you will get Channel 2.
-With Loop 1 turned off and Loop 3 turned on you will get Channel 3.

Ok from the beginning,

1. Guitar in Front Pannel
2. Guitar out Rare Panel to the Input of the Rectifier,
3. The appropriate Speaker Out of the Triple Rectifier to my Bogner cabinet.
On the Triple Rectifier i set the Loop Assign knob to "Loop On" and set both the Send and Return knobs to "Normal
4. Feed Thru Rare Panel to the Triaxis Input,
5. Output A of the Triaxis to Input A on the 2:90.
6. The appropriate Speaker Output A of the 2:90 to my Marshall cabinet.
7. Rectifier Ch1 to the out of the GCX Loop1.
8. Rectifier Ch2 to the out of the GCX Loop2.
9. Rectifier Ch3 to the out of the GCX Loop3.
10. Rectifier Solo to the out of the GCX Loop4.
11. FX Send of the Triaxis to the In of GCX Loop 5.
12.FX Return A of the Triaxis to the out of GCX Loop 7.
13. FX Send of the Triple Rectifier to the In of GCX Loop 6.
14. FX Return of the Triple Rectifier to the out of GCX Loop 8.
15. Send from the GCX Loop 5 to the TC Input right.
16. Return from the GCX Loop 5 to the TC Output right.
17. Out from GCX Loop 5 to the in of the GCX Loop7.
18. Send from the GCX Loop 6 to the TC Input left.
19. Return from the GCX Loop 6 to the TC Output left
20. Out from the GCX Loop 6 to the in of the GCX Loop 8.
21. Send from the GCX Loop 7 to the Alesis Input right.
22. Return from the GCX Loop 7 to the Alesis Output right.
23. Send from the GCX Loop 8 to the Alesis Input left.
24. Return from the GCX Loop 8 to the Alesis Output left.
:?:
Then i have in Loop1 Recto Ch1, Loop2 Recto Ch2, Loop3 Recto Ch3, Loop4 Recto CH Solo(Boost)
Loop 5 and 6 the T.C
Loop 7 and 8 the Alesis

is that right ?????
