I have a new Nova system along with a Laney Ironheart 120 head. I would like to do channel switching via midi out on my Nova. Nova is standard 5 pin midi.
What switching system would I need to do this? AND if you recommend your 4 switch system does this mean that I can only program 4 presets on my Nova system to channel change on my amp?
I usually use at least 3 banks of three presets (9) on my Nova. Each preset (9) will use a different channel on my amp head, some a clean channel, some a crunch and some lead channel. Also some with boost.
Thank you for your help!

Welcome to the board!!
Although your amp has no MIDI capabilities, you should be able to connect the 5-Pin MULTI Connector on the Control Switcher to the 5-pin DIN socket on your Ironheart. In lieu of that, you can connect the Control Switcher's 4 Mono Control jacks to the Ironheart's 2 Stereo jacks using Insert Cables.
Referring to Page 21 of the Nova System manual, under the Program Map section, you'll see how the PrgMap settings are sent from the Nova's MIDI Out. Seems to me all you need do is follow the instructions in the "Use With Other MIDI Foot Controllers" section of the Control Switcher manual to program the Control Switcher to change to the desired Ironheart channel when it receives Program Change info from the Nova System.
Please understand I do not own any of these pieces and the information provided above is my understanding of how they should work together, based on information gleaned from their respective Owner's Manuals.
