You can use a Pedal Switcher with any four pedals you choose, but what are you looking for in the way of benefit(s)? Also how many is "...too darn many..?"

You might be better off using a GCX with a Ground Control Pro. That lets you move at least 8 - if not more - pedals into a rack, all controlled with the Ground Control Pro with only a single MIDI cable connecting it to the GCX.

I have 11 pedals. TU2' wah, vibe, compresor, fuzz, TS9, MT2, chours, phaser, delay and reverb.

I only play at home but was wanting something to improve the tone. I wasn't super unhappy with it without the switcher just thought this would isolate and improve the tone.

There are a lot of things you can do to "improve" your tone, ranging from changing guitars and/or amps to upgrading to better quality patch cables and experimenting with the order of your pedals, but I don't think adding a switcher is going to give you the improvement you're looking for, especially if you're unhappy with the tone you're starting with.
