Welcome!!

The first thing to do is to make sure all of your connections are made correctly. As stated on Page 3 of the GCPro manual:

Connect a 5-pin MIDI cable from the Ground Control Pro MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of your first device. If you are using the GCX, it should always be your first device. If you have additional devices, connect the MIDI THRU of the first device to the MIDI IN of the next device. If the device has no MIDI THRU, then use its MIDI OUT. Continue to chain your devices until they are all connected.

Now let's move to the Device Name/Channel section at the bottom of Page 6. If you have not done so already, follow these instructions to name each of your devices and set them to respond to different MIDI channels. You may need to refer to each product's Owner's Manual to ensure you've got them set to the proper channel.

The next thing to check is the Start number for each device, as some devices number their presets starting with a 0 as opposed to a 1. The "Start Number" section on the bottom of Page 7 will explain how to set the correct start number for each device. You may want to refer to the owner manuals to determine the correct start number for each device, but an easier way to do that is to just power everything up, select Button 2 on the Ground Control and check to see what PreSet number each device is displaying. If they are all on Preset 2 you're good to go, but if any of them are on Preset 1 you will need to edit that device in your GCPro and change its Start number to 0.

Which Preset 2 button you use for this test will depend on what mode your GCPro is in (See Page 14 of the manual). If you are in 10 Presets/Bank mode, you'll use the small number 2 in the top row of buttons, but if you're in the 4 Presets/Bank mode you'll use the larger number 2 in the bottom row printed on a gray background.

If you've made all these connections and edited the device settings properly, everything should work according to plan. Let us know if you have more problems.

Go to Page 14 of your CGPro manual and configure your unit to run in 4 Presets/bank mode. This will allow you to change G-Force Presets with the 4 buttons on the bottom row and use the two upper rows of buttons as Instant Access buttons.

Ok guys!!!
I really thing i’m going crazy!!!!
I'm trying to better understand how to interface to the GCX my equipment but I think that first of all I should be clear about what I have and what I need!
My equipment includes:
Cry Baby Wah
Line 6 Relay G50 Wireless
Bheringer BTR2000 tuner
Ibanez TS9
Boss SD-1
Boss CS-3
Marshall JMP-1
Marshall EL84 20/20
TC Electronic G-Force
boss FV500H
Ernieball volume.

my need is to do everything around the Marshall JMP-1. I mean you can choose any preset the JMP-1 and can match any of my choice between TS9 stomp boxes, SD-1 and CS-3, or combine any preset the G-Force, all independently of each other .
is this possible? how do I connect everything? I think the attached diagram is correct?
look forward to any suggestions regarding

Thanks to all

Gio
