I would really like to know if anyone succesfully powered a Rocktron loop 8 with PP-AC the jack in the back of the rocktron says 2A 9vac but i understand that most of the time the real current draw is a lot less than the advertised by the manufacturer. I understand that PP AC is 1200 mA or 600mA. Do you think it will work? I use the PP AC to power a digitech whammy only nothing else y y just hate noisy and bulky adapters.

Thanks for the help anyone.

hello,
I believe the patch mate loop 8 floor has a 4-pin power receptacle the plugs into the unit that supplies power to the loop 8. so I believe your stuck with that bulky walwart just to power it.

Not sure where you got that info, but the PatchMate Loop 8 manual shows the power supply input as being 9VAC/3.4 Amp. In any event, I suspect poohbear is correct, and due to the 4-pin power jack, you're limited to using the original Rocktron power supply.

I can't read the manual for you, but odds are that's where I found the answer to your question.
