I have set the utility to "banks of 4" so that I can use the 8 IA switches. What is weird is that I go through presets 1-4 ok and then hit bank up to move to what I would expect to be 5-8....but it goes up by 10 and does 11-14??? What am I missing?

Note: this is for use with an AXE Fx II.

Thanks,
d.

The two characters displayed at the far left are indicating the Ground Control Pro preset location. The first character is the Bank and the second character is the Preset Button. In 4 Presets per Bank mode you have only buttons 1-4, so what you are seeing is normal. "01" indicates Bank 0, Button 1.
"10" indicates Bank 1, Button 0.
"A4" Indicates Bank A, Button 4.

I hope that helps!

Thanks!

What I meant to say was that right now in 4 bank mode I am seeing:

01 Bank 0 Button 1 = Preset 1
02 Bank 0 Button 2 = Preset 2
03 Bank 0 Button 3 = Preset 3
04 Bank 0 Button 4 = Preset 4

.....which is great up to that point....then

11 Bank 1 Button 1 = Preset 5
12 Bank 1 Button 2 = Preset 6
13 Bank 1 Button 3 = Preset 7
14 Bank 1 Button 4 = Preset 8

I guess I had hoped that clicking bank up (in 4 Preset Mode) would have made the next number 05 instead of 11. The reason being is if I have to go to preset 32 on a moments notice I have too do the math quickly to come up with the increments of 4 :)

Thanks,
d.

Ground Control Pro presets are fully programmable... you can re-program any of the presets to recall patch 32, for instance, so you don't have to bank up/down a bunch to jump to the patches you commonly use.

Alternatively, if you simply want the patch number of your device displayed you can incorporate it into the Ground Control Pro preset name.
