Hello All,
I am about to pull the trigger on a switching system for my pedal board and have pretty much decided on 2-3 Pedal Switchers and a Commander. My final outstanding Q is whether or not the commander will allow me to select presets on my Timeline (I would presume via a midi out) simultaneously with switching presets. Say I want to have as preset 1 (on the Commander) a loop which incorporates an ambient delay (say preset 1 on the Timeline). Loop 2 on the Commander incorporates a slap back (preset 2 on the Timeline), Loop 3 a different delay (and so on). Is this achievable? I have watched the Vids and searched the forum but I am still not certain.
Thanks for your help.

Just curious if you've come up with and solutions? If I understand your question correctly, you should have no problem changing presets via midi. I just ordered a Strymon Timeline and was wondering what other GCP/GCX users might be doing with theirs. I'm planning on/hoping to implement my pedal switcher as a "second GCX" in hopes that that will give me additional control(more buttons) of the timeline via the GCP.

The Commander will send a Program Change on MIDI Channel one when you push any of its preset buttons. Presets one through 10 will send Program Change 1 through 10 respectively. This should allow you to recall the first 10 preset locations on virtually any MIDI device that accepts MIDI Program Changes.
I hope this helps!
