Hi all, please excuse me if this has been asked before but i am trying to work out if the instant access buttons (1-8) can have different "settings" per preset.

For example, I use my GCP in a pretty basic way. I have a Marshall JVM210 amp. The GCP goes to the midi IN on my amp. I then have a midi cable going from the midi THRU on my amp into the midi IN on a Line 6 M9 effects unit.

I have bottom row of buttons on the GCP (1-4) setup to change modes/channels on my amp. I have then setup the instant access buttons (1-8) to control my line 6 M9.

I have the M9 set to midi channel 1. I have the GCP on preset 1 set to midi channel 1. I have programmed the GCP to send the midi CC messages as per the line 6 m9 mannual to switch between and turn on/off each of the m9's "scenes".

Here is my problem, the m9 also has a built in looper that uses different CC numbers to control. What i would like to do is have a second preset, lets call it preset 2 that i can switch to which would allow me to have a different set of instant access commands set up.

From what i have read, it seems the instant access button settings are global.

Is this really the case? I would have thought it would be a pretty common scenario to have different midi CC settings for the instant access buttons in different presets?
