I have three GCX and would like to learn how to modify my GCX # 3. I would like to know exactly what parts should I change and if possible I would last a circuit diagram of change . Thank you.

I believe that to change the GCX to stereo you need to change out the entire PCB(s). There are not any circuit changes you can make to the original.

What is PCB ?

Printed Circuit Board.

The relays and related jacks are PCB mounted. The relays are single DPDT per loop with TS (mono) jacks so they will only handle a mono signal. You need new relays and TRS jacks to convert to stereo and the standard PCB will not accommodate that.

So actually just switch jacks for stereo ?

No. It is more than just jacks.

I don't have any pictures but if you open your GCX you will see the two PCB's that contain the relays and loop jacks. There are two PCB assemblies for this, one stacked on top of the other for the two rows of jacks. these are the PCB assemblies that need to be replaced. There are no reliable mods that I know of that can be done to them to make them stereo, the have to be completly replaced.
