hello.

First of all sorry for my English, I have a problem with the GCX, when used to select effects for the effects loop of my amp, it sounds like very annoying buzzing and playing at high volume is unbearable, I realized that the sound decreases when I disconnect my rack tuner feed thru the back, have something to do?.

Greetings and thanks

To be of any real help, we need to know exactly what you have connected to your GCX and how it's connected, please.

Unfortunately, my place of business blocks access to image hosting sites, so I won't be able to see your rack until late this afternoon.

Since removing the tuner removes the noise, I'd say the problem is likely a ground loop through the rack rails. As a test, try isolating either the GCX or the rack tuner from the rack rails. Just un-screw one of them and pull it away from the rails.

If that works you can permanently isolate using a product known as Hum Frees.

Let us know what you find.

Dear.

I commented that the equipment I have is a wooden rack. disconnect all equipment and leave only the table and the GCX loop, and had the same buzz. GCX'd better bring a technician?, in Chile have a technician?.

Greetings and thanks.

Great advances. Guys, I tell them to successfully lose much noise with two actions, first try to remove the current that goes straight to the amp input and what goes through the effects loop, for this use a manifold with surge protector and the other at furman conditioner passes, the second best result and that tube was changed a couple of power cables for a landless, especially the compressor and rack tuner, which are the most noise getting into. I will try to leave only the amp with earth, , in the evening I will try to upload pictures of my rack.

regards
