PX-8 plus Routing question

Post by hlwilson3rd » Sun Dec 01, 2019 9:31 pm

Hello all. I know from digging around here that the buffer on the PX-8+ is on the output. That said. I have 2 pedals on my board that sound best without a buffer BEFORE them, but 6 others that I think an benefit from a buffer before them. Is it feasible/beneficial to start my chain at the Insert return, loop the 2 pedals in 7 and 8, take the PX-8 plus output and run it to the input, loop the remaining 6 pedals 1-6 and use the insert send as the output?
Thanks in advance!

No problem at all to run loops 7 & 8 first, then to loops 1-6.

Good Luck!
