I've been checking out the Pedal Switcher and Commander for a little while now and I'm realising now that my ears are telling me the truth that my pedal board IS sucking my tone!

I just have a few questions about how to set it up with a few of my favourite pedals.
here is how i run my pedals now.

Fuzz Face - Dunlop 95Q Wah - Uni Vibe - Boss TU2 - Ibanez AD9 - Fender '63 Reverb tank - Ernie ball Pan Pedal ( one side to amp, Other side to Xotic RC Boost) into I / II inputs of JTM 45 Combo

So I figure that I will need 2 Pedal Switchers and maybe a Commander.

No I finally get to my main question

I guess that I will have to put the Wah pedal into the INSERT on Pedal Switcher 1

but my Uni Vibe has a separate Expression pedal also, would I simply plug the SEND and RETURN of the Uni Vibe into Pedal Switcher 2? if so, does this mean that the pedals plugged into the INSERT jacks are constantly "in the loop" ??

The last bit of my question is how to arrange a My pan pedal, I like to be able to Pan from the pushed sound in my marshall over to a harder driving sound (using the RC boost on the other input of my amp) rather than just switchin it in, is this possible?

any help would really be appreciated. I want to get my hands on a Pedal Switcher Soon!!! :)

THANKS!

This setup can be done with two Pedal Switchers.. with room for two more pedals!

On the first Pedal Switcher you would run your guitar to the unbuffered Input and connect the TU-2 to Loop 1, the Fuzzface to Loop 2, then run the 95Q to the Insert. The Insert on a Pedal Switcher is simply a break between Loops 3 and 4... whatever is connected to the Insert will always be in the signal path. The Uni-Vibe Input and Output would connect to Loop 4. The Uni-Vibe's expression pedal would still connect directly to the Uni-vibe's Pedal jack.

The Output of the first Pedal Switcher would connect to the second Pedal Switcher. You can experiment here by trying either the unbuffered Input or the Buffer input on the second Pedal Switcher. Connect the AD-9 to Loop 1 and connect the Reverb to Loop 2.

The Pan pedal can go into the Insert of the second Pedal Switcher with one side returning Pedal Switcher and the other side running directly to the amp. The RC-Boost will connect to Loop 4. The Output of the second Pedal Switcher will connect to the second input of the amp. However, if you normally leave the RC-Boost on at all times and use the pan pedal to go from "clean" to "dirty" then you would simply run the Output of the second Pedal Switcher to the Pan pedal and use it as you always have been.

I hope that helps!

Thats Awesome! Thanks!

I do usually have the boost pedal on all the time so running the pan pedal at the end would be fine.

The Uni-Vibe has an micro on-off switch in the heel of the pedal so I suppose i just run the IN and OUT of the Uni-Vibe to the second Pedal Switchers INSERT socket and just keep it always in the loop.

I suppose using the Pedal Switchers will take a few pedals out of the loop and will help clean things up a bit.

Thanks again
