Hello!

I'm thinking of getting ground control pro for the likes of amplitude etc (amp modeling software)

the problem is, my laptop dosn't have midi inputs, just USB.

Does the ground control pro support midi through usb? also, can it act as a sound interface for the likes of amplitude 3? (asking abit much i guess haha :P)

thanks for your time!

The Ground Control Pro will send MIDI Program Change and Control Change messages. You will have to check that the things you want to control in Amplitube 3 can be controlled with these message types or use a program like Bome's MIDI Translator to convert these messages into whatever is necessary in order to control the desired parameters in Amplitube 3.

Virtually any USB MIDI Interface should work with the Ground Control Pro.

I hope that helps!

From what I know Amplitube 3 supports PC and CC messages. You should save the preset, and then assign it a program number. CC's can be mapped by right clicking on a control.

Something like an M-Audio Midisport would give you a USB midi interface which you could then plug your GCP into.
