Amazing !!! Loop 1 (& test pedal) is working fine with guitar direct to Loop 1 IN (GCX back) or from Guitar IN (low imp) on GCX front. Obviously I previously overlooked something... Anyhow, what's next ? TIA

What GCX Loops are you already using? The stereo gear can be switched using two GCX loops per stereo device. Will you ever be bypassing the D-Two or the G-Force?

Here is a diagram that shows two stereo processors connected to GCX Loops with one using GCX Loops 3 and 7 and the other processor using GCX Loops 4 and 8. http://www.voodoolab.com/gcxdiagrams/04 ... werAmp.pdf

Any two GCX Loops can be used for a stereo device. Alternatively, if you will be switching multiple stereo devices you can have four of the GCX Loops converted to true stereo with the GCX Stereo Mod.

Guitar > CM Preamp Pedal > Guitar IN (front) > Guitar Out (back) > Loop 1 IN > T-Rex Squeezer > L1 Out > L2 IN > TCE Stereo Chorus > L2 Out > L3 IN > Radial Trimode > L3 Out > L4 IN > Radial Hot British > L4 Out > L5 IN > CALabs MK4.23 Clean Boost > L5 Out > Mono IN VHT2100S.

Pls note the TCE Stereo Chorus Flanger can also be used as a preamp pedal according to TCE. If I did use it in place of the CM Preamp Pedal is it still possible to achieve stereo from the TCE SCF in the above setup & how would it be done?

Yes I would want the flexibility to bypass one / both TCE GF / TCE D2 as needed. Would it still be possible to program & recall presets from TCE GF / TCE D2 ??? Thanks John !

Well with only three loops left over, you will be short one loop in order to switch both the D-Two and the G-Force in stereo. You will have to decide on dropping one switched mono pedal or to convert four of the GCX loops to TRS stereo connections.

The Chorus/Flanger can be used in stereo if it is routed after all the mono effects.

The Ground Control Pro can control up to eight unique MIDI devices as well as up to four GCX switchers... again, controlling a single GCX and only two MIDI devices will be a walk in the park.

OK, I can drop the CAL MK4.23 Clean Boost from the lineup... it doesn't need to be switched by the GCP.
So can I place it: GUITAR > CAL MK4.23 > CM Preamp > GCX Guitar IN (front) ????

Yes I would like the TCE SCF in stereo.... so how do we proceed with this walk in the park ??? TIA. I really appreciate all your help !

Remember that in this case each Stereo device will require two GCX loops to switch... I think for now, it would be better to run the TC Chorus/Flanger mono for the purpose of getting familiar with this system.

If you feed the In of GCX Loop 1 from the rear panel Feedthru, you will be able to test with or without the GCX buffer. Connecting to the Guitar In will be buffered and connecting to the front panel Feedthru will be un-buffered.

The four mono pedals can be placed into GCX Loops 1,2,5 and 6. with GCX Loop 1 running to GCX Loop 2. GCX Loop 2 running to GCX Loop 5. GCX Loop 5 running to GCX Loop 6. From the output of GCX Loop 6 you would run a Y-Cable to feed GCX Loops 3 and 7... just like the diagram above... GCX Loops 3 and 7 will run to GCX Loops 4 and 8 respectively. The Outs of GCX Loops 4 and 8 would feed the inputs of your power amp.

I hope that helps!

OK... pedals & rack gear are setup as instructed and I have stereo. Thanks so very much for everything to this point. So how do we do the midi programming for presets & how do we hookup the Chorus in stereo ?

Again, the chorus will require two loops in order to run it in stereo. How would you connect it? ...well, just like the other two stereo devices. You can use GCX Loops 2 and 6 for the chorus and run these loops into GCX Loops 3 and 7.

Programming starts with the Ground Control Pro manual. Getting the Ground Control Pro configured to control your MIDI devices is covered in the Device Name/Channel section. Enabling the GCX is shown in the Expanders section.

After configuring the Ground Control Pro you are ready to make presets. In the Edit Preset section of the Ground Control Pro manual you will find information about controlling what patch is recalled on your MIDI devices within the Assigning MIDI Program Changes section, while the section entitled Controlling the GCX Guitar Audio Switcher will explain how to get the GCX loops to do your bidding.

Good Luck!
