I recently picked up an old Ground Control but no power supply. I know it says 9vac on the back, but doesn't give the mA. Also, does anyone know if it would be ok to use a supply rated 10vac @ 500mA? Thanks Guys!

The original Ground Control (as well as the Ground Control Pro) shipped with a 9VAC power supply with a minimum current of 500mA. A 10v supply will likely be fine however increasing the voltage will make the voltage regulator run hotter and is not advised for long periods of time.
