Pedal Power 2plus enough for these pedals?

Post by schmitzjung » Mon Sep 24, 2018 9:35 am

Hi there!
Im reconfiguring my board (Pedaltrain 2) at the moment...but first of all sorry for my bad english. My native language is german, so please be patient! ;)

So these are my pedals:
- Real McCoy Custom RMC3Fl Wah
- orioneffekte Elektro Booster
- Harley Benton USB LedLamp Pedal
- TC Electronic Corona
- TC Electronik Ditto
- MXR microFlanger
- MXR carbonCopy
- fulltone Deja Vibe
- fulltone OCD v2
- Shure GLXD6
- in the future maybe a loopswitcher something like the G Lab GSC-4 System Controller

So there are actually 10 Pedals but only 8 Spots on my PP2+ available.
Furthermore the fulltones need/want 18V (for that i have a Gigrig Doubler and a Voodoo Lab Votage Doubler cable - means loosing one more spot with this: the fulltones take away three spots).
So 5 Spots are reamainig for the other pedals. So how to do this?
I've got one Output Splitter Adapter - Ground Lifted, a daisy chain cable working like an Output Splitter and several standard Barrel Cables.

Do i stress my PP2+ to much with all this? Should i get another ISO5 and connect it to the PP2+ via the courtesy outlet? if so, do you have a tiny cable in your program that would fit connecting PP2+ and ISO5 using it under my pedaltrain2 ?
Or any other suggestions do you have to solve my 'problem' ?

Thanks for your patience an hopefully incoming help!

Best regards

Daniel

Certainly you could add a few Output Splitter Adapters, part# PPAV.

But... adding a second supply (ie. Pedal Power ISO-5) is very likely the better option and if possible is what I recommend.

As for a shorter replacement IEC power cord, perhaps one like this: IEC Power Cord
