Oceans 11 and Pedal Power +2

Post by solid_snack88 » Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:37 am

i powered my oceans 11 using one outputs 1-4 at in my friends garage but the pedal led would just blink wildly and the pedal woudnt function. For the rest of the practice I just powered it using the power suppy the pedal came with but when I got home and tested out the voodoo lab again the pedal worked just fine. What could be causing this issue?

It's because it requires 150mA (but the standard outputs are 100mA capacity).

To power the Oceans 11 use Pedal Power 2 Plus output 5 or 6, DIP switch set normal with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

The standard outputs work just fine when I am at my studio but not in my friend's garage though.

A likely explanation is:

As wall power can vary slightly from one venue to the next, a pedal powered from a source that is only very marginally sufficient, might work fine at one location but not at another.
