Pedal question

Post by gaetanoletizia » Fri Dec 22, 2017 8:01 am

I run my ocd with a y jack which uses two 9 volt outlets.
This is to give the pedal higher output. Would using
A single 400 ma outlet be equivalent?

The OCD doesn't require higher current so there would be no benefit (or harm) in using a 400mA output.

However, the OCD will accept 9-18V so it can be powered directly from any 9V Output, any 12V Output, or with a Voltage Doubler Adapter connected to any two 9V Outputs.

I assume you have the Voltage Doubler with all black ends for 18V operation.
If you actually have the Current Doubler (the one with the Green end) then you can get rid of it since you don't need to use it with the OCD.

I hope that helps!
