Engl Z11 and Pedal Power

Post by Manhell » Mon Dec 07, 2009 7:30 am

I there, I'm thinking about getting one pedal power for the pedals in the rack, I also have a Engl Z-11 midi controler in the same rack and to save some wiring and plugs I'm wondering if I can plug the Z 11 in the pedal power as well.

The Engl Z-11 says 7-10v AC and 9-12v DC

Thanks

I don't know if the 300mA labeled on the Z-11 is the actual max current draw across the voltage ranges listed. Your best bet with a Pedal Power 2+ is going to be to use Output 5 or 6 switched away from Normal. Any output of a Pedal Power AC will also work. Otherwise, the high current outputs on a Pedal Power ISO-5 or a Pedal Power Versa will be more than adequate.

Looks like it will be your other power requirements that will dictate which one you need... or you can collect them all!
