Help!!! I plugged my 120V PP2+ in a 220V outlet

Post by wcampagner » Fri Jun 09, 2017 11:20 am

Please, anyone can help me fix my PP2+.
It is a 120V version, but accidentally i plugged it in a 220V yesterday.
The led won't light and the pedals are not powered too.

I live in Brazil, it is hard to have a support service here, but i make pedal, and have a good knoledge to fix.

Thanks in advance,
Wagner.

Unfortunately this will most likely need the transformer replaced. Please give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com so we can exchange some details and discuss the best options for repair.

Another option is to contact our Distributer in Brazil, Black and White Blues.

I hope that helps!

Hi John,
Thanks for the answers.
Most of the time that this happens is the transformer blown??
I've cheched and the capacitors seems ok.
The transformer seems like melt a bit of the black windings isolator.

Please, how much is the price of a new transformer?

Thanks,
Wagner.

Our distributer in Brazil does perform repairs, they are likely going to be your fastest route to getting this resolved. Here is a link to their contact information again...
Black and White Blues

If you would rather work with us directly, please write to info@voodoolab.com for further assistance. We need to exchange some information on where and how you would want this shipped before we can determine the final cost.
