Seeking advice velcro-fixing PP2+ to flat pedalboard

Post by Jcr » Tue Feb 07, 2017 2:29 pm

Hi, I have a Diago pedalboard which comes with a flat base. I recently got a PP2+ and this is the only item I am having trouble getting to stay put on my board with the Diago Velcro. The velcro is really strong but the tall rubber feet on the PP2+ mean that I can't get a strong enough fix between the unit and the board for it to stay in place. A couple of my other pedals came with removable rubber feet which was easy to solve but the rubber feet on the VL unit seem to be fixed in place. Any ideas if there is a simple way to remove the feet without damaging the unit, and if so could this cause running problems velcroing it directly to the board?

Alternatively, any other suggestions or tips to overcome this issue? I want to avoid making any permanent alterations to my PP2+ or pedalboard. I couldn't find any other info online or on this forum so would greatly appreciate any ideas that might do the trick.

Thanks, James

The rubber feet are just stuck on with adhesive. Feel free to peel them off if they are in the way. If later you find that you must have them again, we can send you replacements ;)

Good Luck!

Hi John, great - thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Fair play, they are very well stuck on! I will try again with a bit more force. Thanks :)
