12v to 9v Step Down Adapter/Transformer

Post by mdrennan » Tue Dec 20, 2016 9:42 pm

I have a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus and i want to know if there is anything that can transform one of the 12v power socket to 9v. Any Help would be greatly appreciated :) So Basically, i have 7 9v pedals and there only 6 9v slots, is there a way to change a 12v to 9v?

Maybe I'm missing what you are looking for, but each output on a Pedal Power 2+ will put out 9V with the DIP Switches set to the Normal position.

What pedals are you trying to power?

I have an Octave, Wah, Rotary, OD, Phaser, Boost/feedbacker, Tuner, dd20 (12v). Thats 7 9v pedals and the pedal power only has six 9v power things (and 2 12v's). Is there a way that i can step down a 12v to 9v to power all my pedals?

On the bottom of the Pedal Power 2+ is an Eight Position DIP Switch. If you slide each of these switches to the Normal position as marked with an arrow, then all eight outputs will provide 9V.

When set away from Normal Outputs 1-4 provide 12V, outputs 5 and 6 go to unregulated mode, and outputs 7 and 8 enable the SAG knobs to dial a voltage from 4-9V.

The DD-20 is actually a 9V pedal but it requires higher current, it should be powered from output 5 or 6 with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal.
Each of the rest of your pedals should be able to be powered from any output as long as the corresponding DIP switch is set to Normal.

I hope that helps!
