PP2 sag output and hot hand three receiver.

Post by DaveSunley » Tue Dec 20, 2016 7:08 am

I can't find any information on this on the forum, and thought it would be worth an ask.

Would it be possible (if I could find or even jerry-rig the right cable) to power the hot hand 3 (5v) using on of the Sag outputs from the pedal power 2 plus?

Currently it's the only thing I can't power directly from the Voodoo Lab and it's irritating that I have to wire in an additional power supply. Especially as those kind of 5v adaptors have the same preoblem I've had with the MXR bower brick and the one spot, sooner or later the insulation where the cable joins the plug is going to wear and I'm going to have to buy a new one.

Cheers

Moose.

I don't think this will work since I would bet that the receiver requires more than the 100mA available from these outputs, particularly when charging the battery in the ring.

What is the output rating of the included power adapter?

Can you post a picture of the included power adapter?
