Hello there, I have done a good bit of reading on this and am about to go 'live' and hook up my power. Can someone from Voodoo Labs please confirm that I have got this right? I'd really appreciate your help!!
I'm using a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus I'm based in Ireland so power is 230v (50hz frequency) - same as in the UK
Output 1: Full Tone GT500 = Centre Negative. Standard black cable. Dip: Normal Output 2: E.H. Holy Grail = Centre Negative. Standard black cable. Dip: Normal Output 3: Boss Tremelo TR2 = Standard black cable.Dip: AWAY from Normal Output 4: MXR Carbon Copy = Centre Negative. Standard black cable. Dip: Normal Output 5: Line6 FM4 (Purple) = Red Barrel Cable & dip AWAY from normal Output 6: Line6 DL4 (Green) = Red Barrel Cable & dip AWAY from normal Output 7: E.H. Freeze = Centre Negative. Standard black cable. Dip: Normal Output 8: Boss Tuner TU12 = Centre Negative. Standard black cable. Dip: Normal
I think I have that all right, My main concern is the Boss Tremelo TR2. Am I right to switch it away from Normal? That doesn't seem right?!?
I have attached a photo of my pedals. I also have a Digitech whammy in there which is not listed as I'm assuming this will have to be powered independently as only outputs 5&6 can power this kind of pedal? Which is fine if that is the case
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Sorry for the delay!
You are correct on most of this, however both of the Electro Harmonix pedals also require the high current provided by Outputs 5 and 6 that are also needed for the two Line 6 pedals.
For the TR-2, you will want to check if your unit states what Boss power supply it was supposed to use. If it requires the PSA adapter then you can power it from any output with the DIP switch set to Normal. If it requires the ACA adapter the you can power it from any one of outputs 1-4 with the DIP switch set away from Normal.
The Whammy requires AC power and cannot be powered from any of the DC outputs on the Pedal Power 2+. The Whammy will have to be powered from the Courtesy Outlet using the supplied adapter.
Let us know if you have any questions.
