Hi I have two stompboxes that need 18v, one is 50 Ma, the other is 25 Ma (actually it can use 12v, but goes up to 18v)...
can I use a Voodoo Lab Y cable attached to the doubler cable to get 18v to two boxes? Both effects used sparingly and in all likelihood would not be used together at the same time.
Thanks in advance.

As long as the current demand is lower than the rated maximum of the output used, all should be fine.
It shouldn't really matter if the pedals will both be active at the same time or not... they are both still powered up regardless of the bypass state. The Split Output Y cable lifts the ground to one side to prevent any ground loops anyway, so feel free to rock them both at once!
Good Luck!
