Just want to make sure I'm reading this right:

Does the Whammy DT pedal now use DC instead of AC?

Basically, my question is which Pedal Power do I need to power this? It says 1300 mA next to the connector.

Thanks,

Anthony

We currently have no DC supply that would provide 1300mA from a single output... there isn't much out there that requires such high DC current.

Thanks John.

The adapter that came with the DT is labeled:

Input: 100-240V - 50/60Hz
Max: 3A

Output: 9V (DC voltage picture) 1.3A
Negative tip

However, in the manual it says this:

Power Consumption: 2.6 Watts (<288 mA @9VDC)
Power Requirements: 9VDC External Adapter
Power Adapter: PS0913DC-01 (US, JA, EU)

Since the power consumption is less than 288 mA (according to the manual), will one of the PP units power the DT?

Thanks for your help!

Anthony

You could use a 9VDC high current output on Pedal Power 2 Plus, Pedal Power Digital or ISO-5.

Here's the setup for Pedal Power 2 Plus:
To power your Whammy DT use Pedal Power 2 Plus output 5 or 6, DIP switch set NORMAL and one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

;)
