Powering the Option 5 Destination Rotation w/PP2 (24v)

Post by radioscooter » Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:17 pm

I have an original PP2 (not plus) and also an original purple Option 5 Destination Rotation(not single vibe) that takes 24v. I was just looking at the stats for the newer PP2+ and they say that a cable can be obtained to run 2 outputs together and switch them to run at 24v.

My question is can the original PP2 do this? I would love to have all pedals on one supply and this one is currently eating up a 24v hotspot wart.

Thanks for the help in advance

Because the outputs are isolated, all of the DC Pedal Power models can use this cable. For 24v from an original Pedal Power you can use any 2 outputs switched to "off". For 24v from a Pedal Power 2, or 2+ you can use any two outputs 1-4 switched away from normal.
