Get a nasty ground loop when trying to power my old ac cord mxr flanger from the courtesy ac out on my PP2+.
Is the courtesy out regulated like the other outputs?....Is there a danger lifting the 3rd pin and powering it from there?

Ok, just lifted the 3rd pin on the advice of LASD.....no ground loop.
